Composed & Arranged, with an Accompaniment for the Piano Forte [parties 1, 2, 3]. London, The Royal Harmonic Institution Argyll Rooms, 1826. In-folio, 197p, pages de titres intermédiaires non comprises. Première édition de cet opéra, ici dans un arrangement pour piano. Créé le 12 avril 1826 au Covent Garden, cet opéra eut un grand succès. Meyer meurt en n'ayant qu'aperçu ce succès, le 5 juin 1826, alors qu'il écrivait une adaptation allemande. Demi-basane d'époque, dos lisse, faux nerfs avec les dorures, tranches mouchetées. Cartons des plats usés en bordure, frottements à la reliure, pages parfois légèrement brunies avec l'encre, petite mouillure marginale sur les 5 derniers feuillets. Peu commun.
