Includes Supplement to volume 4 (= The Biology of Antarctic Krill Euphausia Superba), and Special Number to volume 20 (= number dedicated to Dr. Raymond B. Manning). Missing issue 4 of volume 28. First free end-paper of bound volumes with Dr. L.B. Holthuis’s library stamp. Heavy set, so postage will be high.A nice set of a long run of this important crustacean journal. It once belonged to the huge private library of Dr. Lipke Blijdeley Holthuis (1921-2008). Holthuis was one of the foremost prominent carcinologists of his time and his library was the largest and best one in private hands. His library is now in Naturalis (National Natural History Museum of Leiden, the Netherlands). His books remain complete there, only a few periodicals were not included; this is one of them.
