Morel et Cie, 1860, portfolio format 405x280mm, 1 feuillet double-page ( titre et légendes ) et 47 planches ( il manque uniquement la planche 2 de la 3e livraison, sinon l'ensemble est complet ), le portfolio est un peu usagé, le feuillet de présentation est un peu " grignoté " en marge et quelques rousseurs sur les planches, l'état reste fort correct...

" Paris, Librairie Générale de l'Architecture et des Travaux Publics Ducher & Cie. 1878, in-folio, ( 46 x 32,5 cm) , (6)nn pp + 43 pp + 75 full page chromolithographic plates. Bound in modern red half leather with marbled boards, gilt title on spine. Text leaves a bit spotted and dust soiled, colour plates very fine. The chromolithographic plates were lithographed by Daumont and printed by Monrocq. They illustrate various ways to use brick as a decorative element in building constructions, also chimneys, pillars, enclosure walls, gates etc.. Many examples of complete buidings are depicted, some with groundfloors and cross-sections. Some architects represented ; Ed. Guillaume, Gabriel Davioud, Duvillers, Delarue, Galand, A. Feine, Eug. Le Maire..The text by G. Détain gives , apart from the technical descriptions, also an historical survey of the brick as building element and a survey of the different types of brick. In 1879 a second volume with 80 plates was published mainly with exemples of Parisian brick buildings (not present here). (See Weinreb catalogue N° 53 item 437). Text in French. Livre en français."

"12. Paris, A. Morel et Cie, Libraires-Éditeurs, 1864, in-folio, 38 x 27 cm, (4)nn pp (title , plate index) + 48 lithographic plates ( of which 38 in colour). Bound in modern half cloth. Nice copy. The plates were published by M. Ravizza in Munich and printed by Dr. C. Wolf und Sohn. They bear captions and numbering in German. The collection of plates was first published by Ravizza in Munich in 1857 with the German title ; '' Der Ziegelrohbau systematisch entwickelt und durch Beispiele erläutert.''."
