1 volume in-4 (28,5x23 cm), broché papier souple de couleur crème remplié, le 1er plat portant le nom du peintre en grandes lettres rouges, Le ROSSO, peintre d’origine florentine ainsi appelé à cause de ses cheveux roux.L’ouvrage compte 229 pages de texte ainsi réparties: une étude très complète (en français) sur l’oeuvre du peintre (pp1-123), un catalogue raisonné de cette oeuvre (pp124-213). un index (pp214-230) et une table des 80 planches qui sont regroupées en fin d’ouvrage en hors-textes (ces planches sont des reproductions en noir-et blanc).Le ROSSO est considéré par les Historiens d’Art comme un des représentants de la Renaissance tardive, mouvement qui marque l' Ecole de Fontainebleau (Le ROSSO est mort à Paris en 1540).Notre exemplaire, qui s’inscrit dans la Collection Les Maitres du Moyen-Age, est numéroté -N°1357sur 1650- et est imprimé sur papier alfa.Il est en très bon état.
