Stamps on first title-page. 1: 18 pp. and 10 engraved plates. - 2: (28) pp. and 8 engraved plates. - 3: With engraved title-page. (14),35 pp. and 51 engraved plates (numb. I-XLII and extra with A-numbering). A few minor dampstains, but fine and clean.
First edition of all three importent works on machine technology, with fine engraved plates, representing the flower of 17th Century technology. The importent work on the mechanics of mills contains the earliest engraving of the ""Hollander"", the Dutch paper beating machine.
