L'opera venne scritta dal 1761 al 1762 e venne pubblicata nel 1766. Alcune piccole illustrazioni, una delle quali al frontespizio. In discrete condizioni. Copertina editoriale in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Piatto anteriore assente. Legatura in discrete condizioni con rotture. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Edition of 1863 of this famous work by the novelist, poet and playwriter Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774). The work was written from 1761 to 1762 and was published in 1766. Some little illustrations of which one is in the title page. In fair conditions. Editorial cover in poor general conditions with wearings and missing parts in the edges and spine. Front plate is missing. Binding in fair conditions with cracks. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings.

(dont le frontispice) - XVI - 310pp. Frontispice, vignette au titre et cul-de lampe au dernier feuillet Peline basane brune de l'é poque, roulette dorée encadrant les plats, dos lisse orné de deux grands fleurosn dorés cernant au centre le titre doré, tranches marbrées.
Quelques rousseurs, mouillure interne aux 10 derniers feuillets. Exemplaire joliment relié de ce roman anglais qui eut un grand succès.(S2)
