In questa interessante opera vi sono raccontati "sporting incidents, and subjects of natural history, and devices for entrapping wild animals". L'A. tratta in modo completo, anche se succinto, l'ornitologia scandinava, i pesci d'acqua dolce, il salmone e soprattutto la caccia all'orso, re degli animali selvatici della regione. Llewellyn Lloyd (Londres 1792- Västra Tunhem 1876), zoologiste et chasseur anglais légendaire, découvre la Suède en 1820-1830 et chasse l'ours, le loup et le lynx. Reliure usagée, marque d'humidité sur le plat supérieur du volume I, plat inférieur du volume I dérelié, volume II correct, mais bon intérieur pour les deux volumes.
