Araki Mythologie de Nobuyoshi Araki et Le Japon Texte de Jean-Christophe Ammann chez Images Modernes en 2001. Le livre est illustré de nombreuses photos pour adultes. Le livre mesure 31x24 cm et pèse 1,600 kg (c), non paginé (252). Reliure d'éditeur souple, Broché. Le livre est en très bon état, légèrement gauchi.
Nobuyoshi Araki est né au Japon. Il est photographe depuis les années 60, son oeuvre est restée underground pendant des années, étant donné son érotisme. Il faudra attendre une quinzaine d'années pour qu'il soit reconnu comme l'un des plus grands photographes contemporains japonais. Ses thèmes principaux sont le nu féminin, les fleurs, la nature morte et la ville. Les jeux érotiques présents dans son oeuvre le situent dans la tradition des estampes érotiques japonaises. Il est l'auteur de plus de 250 livres et il a été exposé dans les galeries et les musées du monde entier. Contrairement a Tokyo Lucky Hole qui n’était qu'une vulgaire collection de photos pornographiques hideuses prises dans les bas-fonds de Tokyo, ce livre est une petite merveille. Même si certaines photos sont très explicites, les femmes photographiées sont magnifiques. La juxtaposition de photos de paysages, de fleurs et de femmes nues donnent a l'ensemble une impression de pureté. Par ailleurs, les photos de bondage doivent être remises dans leur contexte(au Japon, le bondage est une forme d'art très sophistiquée).
