Der berühmte Münchner Chirurg Johann Nussbaum war ein gefeierter Lehrer, ein Meister der Diktion und ein kühner Operateur. Die Einfürung der Antiseptik in Bayern gilt als sin größtes Verdienst. Nußbaum hatte die antiseptische Wundbehandlung persönlich bei Lister in Edinburgh gelernt. Nußbaum the noted German surgeon, was a pioneer in the evolution of antisepsis in Germany. He introduced Listerism as early as 1868 at Munich. Here presented is the final edition of his masterwork.
