Seven colored plates with multiple overlay flaps. spine a bit rubbed,covers very slightly worn,some browning to papers,else a copy with all the plates and overlays in fine condition. Six colored plates of a locomotive,an automobile,a submarine,and various engines,with scores of overlay flaps. A highly complex specimen of the genre and extremely rare. A title-page blurb indicates that this volume is part of a larger work and is to be described as un magnifique atlas de modeles demontables de constructions modernes. We are also informed that the work won the Grand Prix of the Exposition Internationale du Livre in Paris in 1907. ‎
