London, Chapman and Hall, 1837. Contemp. red hmorocco. Partly uncut. Raised bands, richly gilt compartments. Gilt lettering. Top of spine restored. Top edge gilt. Light wear along edges. A small crack in upper hinge. Frontispiece weakening in joint. A small nick to right margin of the engraved title-page. One plate with a few brownspots, otherwise exceptionally clean.
First edition in book form, later issue.
