(Reliure restaurée, quelques taches sur les plats et quelques rousseurs. les feuillets a7 et a8 manquent.) BON EXEMPLAIRE. ***___***___*** In-4 vellum of the time, 404- [28] pages (with errors of pagination), title in a framing engraved on wood, portrait of Alberti and illustrations on wood cut. (Binding restored, some spots on the dishes and some rednesses. the layers a7 and a8 miss.) First edition with the format in-4 version of BARTOLI. The engraved title is inspired by that of the edition of 1550, the many figures on wood are a reversed reduction of this same edition. This specimen, like that described by FOWLER, comprises two quantified layers 284 and 285 (this one signed S) between the layers s6 and s7; and a folded up double layer quantified 322-323 between y8 and X. marginal Italian Annotations with the old ink of which some with sketch. Good specimen. FOWLER 9. GOOD.

| Première édition au format in-4 de la version de BARTOLI. Le titre gravé est inspiré de celui de l'édition de 1550, les nombreuses figures sur bois sont une réduction inversée de cette même édition. Cet exemplaire, comme celui décrit par FOWLER, comporte deux feuillets chiffrés 284 et 285 (celui-ci signé S) entre les feuillets s6 et s7 ; et un feuillet double replié chiffré 322-323 entre y8 et X. Annotations marginales en italien à l'encre ancienne dont certaines avec croquis. Bon exemplaire. FOWLER 9. |
